Reset Removal and Reset Applied | VLSI Sequential Circuit Design

For an active low reset, when the signal goes from reset mode to functional mode it is called reset removal and if the signal goes from functional mode to reset mode, it is called reset applied.




Reset Removal: 0 to 1 change

Reset Applied: 1 to 0 change


For an active high reset, when the signal goes from functional mode to reset mode it is called reset applied and if the signal goes from reset mode to functional mode, it is called reset removal.




Reset Removal: 1 to 0 change

Reset Applied: 0 to 1 change
